Born and raised in the Triad area of North Carolina, Joan got her real estate license in 2000 and her general contractors license in 2005. Joan has a passion for homes – whether it is helping a buyer find their dream home, working with a seller to market their home, designing, building or remodeling a home. The excitement of seeing a house become a home is something that she never gets tired of. There is much joy in finding or creating that treasured home for clients, whether it is their first home or their tenth, or any number in between.
Having knowledge of how a house is constructed combined with an understanding of the market and resale value of a house, enables Joan to share options with her clients for them to consider when selling, buying or building a home, so that they will get the maximum return on their investment.
Joan believes in giving back to the community. She accomplishes this by being a Homes for Heroes REALTOR Affiliate and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. She always strives to treat others the way that she would like to be treated. She subscribes to the REALTORS® Code of Ethics, and makes honesty and integrity a priority in her life.
It is her belief that there is simply no substitute for education or experience, and that these are key in providing her clients with the service they deserve. Throughout the years she has earned several designations through both the NAR (National Association of REALTORS®) and the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) which are listed below:
